Privacy Policy

Pacer is built without accounts, advertising, analytics, or a remote data service.

Effective July 26, 2026

What Pacer stores

Pacer stores Patterns, Cues, Cue notes, Macros, and preferences locally in the app container on your device. This information is used to run your timers, replay your Patterns, schedule optional reminders, and preserve your choices across launches.

Data collection

Pacer does not create an account, operate an analytics service, show ads, or transmit your Patterns, Cues, Macros, or preferences to the developer or a third party. Pacer 1.0 does not include a third-party advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK.

Notifications

If you enable a Macro reminder, Pacer asks iOS for notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device. Pacer does not register for remote push notifications and does not receive a push notification device token.

Sounds and haptics

Cue sounds and haptics are produced on your device. Pacer does not record audio and does not request access to your microphone.

Retention and deletion

Your information remains in Pacer's local app container until you delete it. You can delete individual Patterns and Macros inside Pacer. Deleting Pacer removes its local app container, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior.

Apple services

Apple may process App Store, crash, or diagnostic information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. That processing is controlled by Apple and is separate from Pacer's local app data.

Children

Pacer does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user because it does not transmit user information to the developer.

Changes and contact

If Pacer's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before those changes ship. For privacy questions, visit the Pacer support page.
